Voices that Carry the Light

In every song, there is a story, In every note, a breath from heaven. And in every heart that listens, the gentle whisper of a God who still moves.

Here, you’ll find the living stories of those who have encountered grace through the music of Vwa Kretyen souls who were touched, comforted, healed, or renewed by the power of worship.

Some found peace after years of struggle. Some rediscovered a faith they thought was gone. Others simply heard God saying to them, “I am here.”

These testimonies are not just words, they are echoes of divine encounters. They are the heartbeat of our ministry, the reason we sing, the proof that Jesus lives — that He still works, still speaks, still transforms lives today.

Each story shared here is a melody of hope, each tear shed is a verse of redemption, each smile is a chorus of gratitude rising to heaven.

Take a moment to read them slowly, to let them speak to your spirit. Because beyond these testimonies, you may hear something greater: the voice of the Holy Spirit, quietly reminding you that God is still near.

Testimony of Antoine Rose Annette (Founder of the Vwa Kretyen Ministry)

"There are callings that no storm can silence"

My life could have ended many times, through sickness, violence, earthquakes, or the chaos that once surrounded me in Haiti. But if I am still alive today, it is because God chose to keep me here for a divine purpose: to make His voice heard through mine.

Vwa Kretyen is not the result of human ambition, it is a calling from Heaven, a flame that God Himself placed within my heart. He made me understand that my love for music was never just passion; it was preparation. A path through which He would use my gifts to carry His message to the world.

Every melody I write, every harmony I hear, every lyric I sing, they are prayers, whispers of grace, bridges between the seen and the unseen. When I sing, I feel His Spirit breathing through the sound, turning pain into worship and silence into light.

I’ve come to understand that we don’t choose grace, grace chooses us. And mine speaks through music.

There were nights when I doubted, when I asked God if my voice truly mattered. But every time, He answered through a song, a verse, or the quiet reminder that purpose is born from surrender.

Among the ministries that have profoundly inspired me, Elevation Worship stands out. Their purity, their passion, and the way they blend excellence with humility taught me that worship is not performance, it is surrender. Through their music, I discovered a new depth of intimacy with God, and that same spirit became the foundation of Vwa Kretyen: to unite hearts, break barriers, and let His presence lead every song.

Today, seeing Vwa Kretyen grow, touch lives across nations, and gather believers who simply want to love God, I am reminded of the promise:

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.”

If I live, it is to serve.

If I sing, it is to testify.

If I breathe, it is to glorify His name.

Vwa Kretyen is more than a ministry, it is the heartbeat of God turned into melody.

Testimony of Sabrina Jullien Bertran

I never chose music, music chose me.

For as long as I can remember, God has used my voice to speak deeper truths than words could express. Through both pain and peace, He’s shown me that singing is not about talent, it’s about carrying His presence.

When ARA invited me to sing “Son sèl nou ye” and become part of the Vwa Kretyen ministry, I felt an undeniable call from Heaven. It wasn’t just a musical collaboration, it was a spiritual appointment.

Being part of Vwa Kretyen has changed the way I see ministry.

It’s more than voices coming together, it’s hearts uniting for one purpose: to glorify God.

This ministry has become a sacred home for me, a place where faith meets art, and where every melody becomes a prayer. Through Vwa Kretyen, I’ve learned the beauty of humility in worship, the strength of unity, and the power of divine creativity.

Singing with Vwa Kretyen reminds me that we don’t sing to perform, we sing to serve. We don’t seek recognition, we seek transformation.

Every time I raise my voice, I feel His peace, His hand, and His presence covering me.

To me, Vwa Kretyen isn’t just a ministry, it’s a living testimony that when we say “yes” to God’s call, He turns our gifts into channels of grace and healing for the world.

Testimony of Gamaniel Thermitus

I wasn’t born in a church home, nor raised among hymns and prayers. I grew up surrounded by the noise of the world, where faith felt like a distant echo. But on January 12th, 2010, everything changed. As the earth shook and everything around me crumbled, I came face to face with death. Trapped and helpless, I cried out to God with all that was left of me. And in the middle of the chaos, He answered.

That day, Jesus didn’t just save my body; He saved my soul. From that moment, I knew my life was His. What the enemy meant for destruction, God turned into a living testimony.

Today, I sing because I am a survivor of grace. Every note I sing, every word I speak is an offering of gratitude. My voice has become my altar. When my words fall short, my music speaks.

I use the gift He placed in me to proclaim His greatness — to remind the world that salvation isn’t luck, it’s a divine encounter with God’s pure love. If I live, it’s to declare that Jesus still saves.
